These post earrings are created from ancient bronze castings of ammonite negatives. Ammonite negatives are created from the host rock in which ammonite fossils are found to be embedded in. They are essentially the impression that is created when the fossil is removed. Each earring is completed with sterling silver posts and ear nut backings.
