Ammonite negatives are the impressions that ammonite fossils leave in their host rock after they are excavated from the earth. This pendant is made from an ancient bronze casting of that impression. Quite literally the rock that held the fossil for millions and millions of years. The pendant is finished with an etched sterling silver bail.
