These post earrings are created from sterling silver castings of ammonite fossil negatives. Ammonite negatives are created from the host rock in which ammonite fossils are found embedded in. They are essentially the impression that is created when the fossil is removed. Each earring is completed with sterling silver posts and ear nut backings.
