Ammonite negatives are the impressions that ammonite fossils leave in their host rock after they are excavated from the earth. This pendant is made from a sterling silver casting of that impression. Quite literally the rock that held the fossil for millions and millions of years. The pendant is finished with an etched sterling silver bail.
